The Impact of the Pandemic on Occupational Groups

We hosted three different speakers at our event titled “The Impact of the Pandemic on Occupational Groups”, which we organized under the #FIGInternational brand in last weekend. We talked about the effects of the pandemic on the professional groups of different sectors with Clinical Psychologist Edlira Dyrmishaj from Albania, Instructor Toye Samson Abiodun from Lithuania and Professional Fitness Coach Mithat Ahmed from London.

On the first day, we touched on the human psychology of the pandemic and the negative dimension of the changes in this process. We discussed the differences in our education life in terms of students and lecturers With our second speaker on the same day. On the second day of our event, we tried to see the slightly full side of the glass by raising our motivation with the speech of Mr. Mithat.

As a society, we have been very impressed by this process which has been in our homes for a long time away from our school, and even though there were mental distressing processes, the presentations of our esteemed speakers helped to eliminate our question marks.

With the support of our esteemed participants and speakers, we ended the “Psychology During The Pandemic” event organized by our International Relations Unit which enables us to better understand the process and takes place in English. Don’t forget stay tuned for our other events!

Geçtiğimiz haftasonu #FIGInternational markası kapsamında düzenlemiş olduğumuz “The Impact of the Pandemic on Occupational Groups” başlıklı etkinliğimizde üç farklı konuşmacımızı ağırladık. Arnavutluk’tan Klinik Psikolog Edlira Dyrmishaj, Litvanya’dan Eğitim Görevlisi Toye Samson Abiodun ve Londra’dan Profesyonel Fitness Koçu Mithat Ahmed ile pandeminin farklı sektörlerin meslek grupları üzerindeki etkilerini konuştuk.

İlk gün pandeminin insan psikolojisine, bu süreçte yaşanan değişikliklerin olumsuz boyutuna değindik. Aynı gün yer alan ikinci konuşmacımızla da eğitim hayatımızda yaşanan farklılıkları öğrenciler ile öğretim görevlileri açısından ele aldık. Etkinliğimizin ikinci gününde Mithat Bey’in konuşmasıyla motivasyonumuzu biraz daha yükselterek bardağın biraz da dolu tarafını görmeye çalıştık.

Uzun süredir evlerimizde, okulumuzdan uzak geçen bu süreçte toplum olarak çok etkilendik ve mental yönden yaşanan sıkıntılı süreçler olsa da değerli konuşmacılarımızın sunumları soru işaretlerimizin giderilmesini sağladı.

Uluslararası İlişkiler Birimi’mizin düzenlemiş olduğu, yaşanan süreci daha iyi anlamamızı sağlayan ve İngilizce olarak gerçekleşen ”Psychology During The Pandemic” etkinliğini değerli katılımcılarımızın ve konuşmacılarımızın desteği ile çok güzel bir şekilde sonlandırdık.
